My client is urgently looking (deadline for submission of CV’s is tomorrow, the 29th Decemeber) for an experienced consultant in the domain of ESX Virtualisation Technology for a 3 month project starting in the first 2 weeks of January.  The role involves:

• Implementation of virtualization technologies (ESX 3.5, ESX 4.0)
• Migration of physical windows machines to virtual servers (P2V)
• Management and administration of ESX solution in multiple environment (Test, production)
• Documentation of Operational ESX procedures ESX problems resolution in a complex IT environment (SAN, Multi domain)

The succesful candidate will also have the following skills, that are needed to complete the contract mission:

• 3 years experience in implementation of ESX technology (ESX 3.5 & ESX 4) and migration in virtualization of windows operating sytems.
• 3 years experience in management of Windows servers (W2K/W2K3, AD).
• Knowledge of clustering and server hardware technology (HP/Compaq preferable).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP arch: DNS, WINS, DHCP, IP, TCP/UDP, subnetting, DMZ.
