THE JOB:

Your main responsibility is the audit, support and optimization of our payment platform. You have to implement and integrate added value services and features on this platform. Your goal is to acquire the expertise in specific functional and technical matters so that you’ll become the reference person and subject matter expert.

After an internal training period about our products and services, you will be a Software Developer allowing you to:

• work in close collaboration with your direct colleagues and other  teams to deliver new services and functionalities on our payment platform
• take care of the internal knowledge sharing and documentation
• Deal with the challenges of the online payment business
• Pay attention to application security
• Anticipate the growth of our platform
• Ensure platform continuity through monitoring, support and optimization.

YOUR PROFILE:

For this challenging IT function, we need a talented and passionate developer whose second nature is security.

• University Degree in IT or equivalent by experience
• Fluent in French, a very good knowledge of English. Dutch or German are assets
• Mature and accountable
• At least 5 years of experience in a web applications development function.
• Worked on complex business logic applications preferably in a banking or finance sector.
• A proven experience in the following areas:

-       ASP 3.0

-       .Net development frameworks

-       Web development basics (HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, XML)

-       T-SQL query language

My client, based in the West of Belgium is URGENTLY seeking a VB6 developer to start ASAP. This is initially a 1 month contract, and the work will mainly involve importing data into a SQL Server 2005 Database via an SSIS package after the database exports some data in csv or xls format.
